Mar Y Sol Is A French Artist And Designer. Born In Paris In 1997, She Studied Applied Arts At The Ecole Boulle, Textile Design At The Ensaama And Global Design During A Residency At The Mobilier National. During This One Year Residency At The Mobilier National, She Developed An Interior Design Project Focusing On The Question Of Sustainability Within The Field Of Preventive Conservation.
Mar Y Sol’s Work Is Strongly Inspired By Her Oriental Roots. She Likes To Dig Into Old Oriental Mythologies And Symbolics. For Her, The Act Of Creation Is A Healing Process. Through Art And Creation, She Feels Like She Can Communicate With Her Ancestors. A Big Part Of Mar Y Sol’s Research Work Is Focusing On Ancestral Transmission Among Women. In 2019, She Conducted A Memoir On Ancestral Feminine Transmission Within The Space Of Hammam.
